MACARET, s. m. (Navigation.) flot impétueux qui remonte de la mer dans la Garonne; il est de la grosseur d'un tonneau; il renverseroit les plus grands bâtimens s'ils n'avoient l'attention de l'éviter en tenant le milieu de la riviere.
