PAMPE, s. f. (Botan.) partie herbacée, roulée, en forme d'un petit ruban, qui vient attaché au tuyau de la plûpart des grains, lorsqu'un tuyau est pendant par les raeines, & qu'il se forme en épi. On dit la pampe du blé, de l'orge, de l'avoine.
