PAMISUS (Page 11:804)
PAMISUS, (Géog. anc.) il y a trois fleuves qui portent ce nom; le premier étoit situé dans le Péloponnèse, ayant son embouchure au fond du golfe de Messénie, il se joignoit avec l'Alphée; le second étoit un fleuve de Thessalie; le troisieme étoit dans la basse Moesie. Ptolomée, qui l'appelle Panysus, en met l'embouchure entre Odessus & Mesembria. (D. J.)
