LIGUSTICUM mare, (Géogr. anc.) on nommoit ainsi le golfe de Lyon dans sa partie orientale, depuis l'Arne, riviere de Toscane, jusqu'à Marseille; mais Niger appelle mer Ligustique cette étendue de mer qui va depuis le détroit de Gibraltar jusqu'à la Sicile.
