IMPÉTRATION, s. f. (Jurisprud.) en matiere bénéficiale, se dit de l'obtention que l'on fait d'un bénéfice en cour de Rome; il se dit aussi en style de chancellerie, pour exprimer l'obtention de toutes sortes de lettres: celui qui les obtient est appellé l'impétrant. Voyez Impétrant. (A)
