INCRÉMENT, dans la Géométrie se dit de la quantité dont une quantité variable augmente ou croît; si la quantité variable décroît ou diminue, sa diminution ou son décroissement s'appelle encore alors incrément; mais l'incrément est négatif. Voyez Différentiel & Fluxion.
