INCOMMUTABILITÉ, s. f. (Gram. & Jurispr.) c'est lorsque le droit de propriété devient irrévocable en la personne d'un acquéreur, lequel ne peut plus être évincé, soit par retrait féodal, lignager, ou conventionnel, ou autrement. On dit alors qu'il devient propriétaire incommutable. Voyez Eviction. (A)
