CRUCHE, s. f. (OEcon. domest.) vaisseau de terre ou de grais large par le bas, & retréci par le haut, qui sert à puiser de l'eau ou d'autres liquides. Il a une anse. Une pleine cruche s'appelle une cruchée; une petite cruche, un cruchon.
