* CREPÉ, adj. (Manufact. soie & laine.) se dit de toute étoffe qui tient du crêpe ou du crêpon, ou dont la chaîne est très - torse, & la trame filée lâchement. Il y a une étoffe qui vient d'Angleterre sous le nom de crispée ou crispé; ce n'est qu'une espece d'étamine dont le nom indique assez la fabrication. Voyez Crêpe & Crêpon; voyez Étamine.
