CONVENTIONNEL, adj. (Jurispr.) se dit de ce qui dérive d'une convention.

Par exemple, on dit un bail conventionnel par opposition au bail judiciaire qui est émané de la justice, & non d'une convention.

Fermier ou locataire conventionnel, est ainsi nommé par opposition au fermier judiciaire. Voyez ci - apr. Conversion de Bail conventionnel.
