* Conciliabule, s. m. (Hist. anc.) conciliabulum, endroit d'une province où les préteurs, proconsuls, propréteurs, faisoient assembler le peuple des pays adjacens pour leur rendre la justice. On y tenoit aussi des marchés indiqués par les mêmes magistrats, & on appelloit ces lieux conciliabula, & non fora. Par la suite ce droit fut reservé aux villes municipales.
