l'activité d'un acide, d'un poison, &c. Les corps, selon
M. Newton, tirent leur activité du principe d'attraction.

environne ce corps, & qui s'étend aussi loin que sa
vertu ou son efficacité peut produire quelque effet
sensible. Ainsi on dit la sphere d'activité d'une pierre
