ACHRONIQUE, adj. m. terme d'Astronomie, qui se dit du lever ou du coucher d'une étoile, lorsqu'il se fait au moment où le Soleil se couche ou se leve. On écrit aussi Acronique; l'ortographe de ce mot dépend de l'étymologie qu'on lui donne, & c'est sur quoi on n'est point entierement d'accord. Voyez Acronique. (O)
