CEER, s. m. (Commerce.) poids tout ensemble & mesure dont on se sert sur la côte de Coromandel. Cinq céers font le bisi, huit bisis un man, & deux mans un candi.

Comme le candi est inégal, & qu'en quelques endroits il n'est que de trois cents vingt livres de Hollande, & en d'autres de cinq cents, le céer est à proportion plus ou moins pesant, suivant les lieux. Le céer contient vingt - quatre tols. Voyez Tol. Diction du Commerce. (G)
