CAKILE, s. f. (Hist. nat. bot.) genre de plante à fleur en croix; le pistil sort d'un calice, & devient dans la suite un fruit semblable en quelque façon à la pointe d'une pique, & composé de deux parties qui sont jointes ensemble par une sorte d'articulation, & qui renferment une semence singuliere, & ordinairement oblongue.
