septentrionale de l'Europe. Mercator croit que c'est
le cap de Livonie, appellé Dagerort; Bécan le
prend pour le cap septentrional de la Scandinavie,
nommé aujourd'hui Wardhuis; mais il y a beaucoup
plus d'apparence que Rubeoe - Promontorium est le cap
le plus septentrional de la Norwege, connu présentement
sous le nom de Nort - cap: c'est le sentiment
d'Ortelius, & du P. Hardouin. (D. J.)
